This is an actively growing double node midcut of my mother plant, an authentic Creme Brulee. It is fully rooted with new root growth visible, and has 1 active bud and 1 dormant bud. It will be sold and shipped in LECA to reduce root stress.

My understanding of “Creme Brulee” based upon my research: The original plant stood out from a batch of regular Thai Constellation in a TC lab. It had a creamier color of variegation that was consistently high on every single leaf. Vegetative cuttings of the original were true to type, but when fed back through the tissue culture process, yielded regular Thai Constellation. This is why Creme Brulee was believed to be a myth, because the labs sold these Tissue Culture Creme Brulee plants as something special, when they were not. However, plants grown from cuttings of the original and therefore genetic clones, are authentically different than regular Thai Constellation.
